Each year, the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards rewards the funniest animal photos of the year, and benefits from this to convey an important message for the conservation of biodiversity. The finalists for the 2019 edition have finally been revealed.

This year, the contest has a special message to convey: "What to do to be green at home?The organizers of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, which is in partnership with the Born Free Foundation, an international NGO specializing in the protection of wild animals, give some advice to preserve nature "Buy responsibly" including avoiding products containing palm oil or objects impossible to recycle, they recommend.They also call for reasonable management of water (avoid showers too long, avoid flushing every time the toilet) but also to become "a natural influencer" in trying to spread these gestures to colleagues and family. The winners will be announced on November 13, 2019 on the organization's website, but in the meantime, here is an anthology of 10 of the 40 finalists this year.
